9/2/2020 Edit – The Tara elevator has finally passed re-inspection and is currently legal once again.
Once again the management company has allowed an elevator license to lapse and fall into violation status, once a license fails to renew on time it subjects the association to potential late fees and liability. This happened in 2017 where all four elevators were in violation for nearly a year and a half and the association incurred multiple late fees and costly re-inspections fees.
Board leadership continues to fail at holding the management company accountable, and the board has refused at holding the president accountable. As owners we must hold the board of directors accountable.
